Q: What can you run for brake rotors if you use the 8x 6.5? Is there a part for that, or just drill with a mill the other size?
The Super bearings are intended to be used with the Factory Replacement Rotors for the Superduty trucks if you opt to use the 8x6.5 pattern you would need to have the other holes drilled out on the mounting flange.
Q: So, with these Super Bearings, how do you service them once they start to wear out? I don't see anything on that here and am curious. In my experience, wheel bearings don't last very long.
A: Just like any Superduty unit bearing, these are not serviceable because they are sealed shut with a folded steel lip. However the bearings inside these units are massive and intended for very high mileage...enough so the Ford has used them on all their Superduties for the last 15 years. Most all other unit bearings are tiny compared to these. The larger the size, the larger the capacity and generally the longer the longevity.
Q: when will this item be back in stock?
A: We are currently in the middle of a slight redesign with them and anticipate the super bearings to arrive 3 or 4th quarter this year
Q: When will you have the Artec Super Bearings back in stock? I'm about to start my JKU 1 ton swap and I need a pair of these soon. Thanks!
A: We have redesigned and improved the super bearings we are currently waiting for the production sample to arrive for inspection and testing before we place a large order for them We are expecting to have more around December if all goes well .
Q: Any chance you guys can make these with a custom 54 count tooth to match the WJ tone ring?
A: We can not custom make the bearings we only make them in large batches of 500 at a time
Q: I want to confirm the Super Bearing will NOT work on 99-04 Axles
A: The Super bearings will only work for the 2005+ super duty axles
