Jeep Wrangler JL HD Rear Lower

 Control Arm Bolt-on Skids
Protect your rear axle LCA and shock brackets on your 2018+ Jeep JL (All 4x4 models)
Sold as a Pair!

These HEAVY DUTY skid plates protect and beef up the factory brackets so you'll never have to worry about damaging the OEM bracket. Protect it before it gets damaged.
  • Fits over the OEM LCA bracket with no bolt-on
  • Modeled using State-of-the-Art 3D modeling with OEM Jeep files
  • Integrated skid plate on the bottom of the bracket, which wraps around joint and shock protecting it from direct impact and decreases premature wear on the joint. This leads to longer life and less replacements. Skid plate design does not restrict movement of joint.
  • Made from 3/16" thick boxed steel plate for strength and impact resistance.
  • 2 stage hard powdercoated for long lasting protection
  • Utilizes factory hardware

NOTE: This bracket should be installed by a competent mechanic and tightened to factory specs. Artec Industries is not liable for incorrect installation. May not install if factory brackets are bent and bashed from rocks.

Easy to use, great product
I love these bolt on skids. Just tested them out on the Rubicon trail, and the pounding they took really saved my LCA bracketry. The covered shock area was really a homerun. Hope to see some front ones out soon

ARTEC's lower control arm skids are rock solid. They are exceptionally made and the powder coating work is so good you'll "almost' not want to drag them across your local terrain. While these are bolt-on products, they can be a bit tricky to install if the holes don't line up perfectly. If that's the case for you, try placing a floor jack under them. Lifting the Jeep by the LCA's helps to bring the holes closer. You may also benefit by using the "punch" method. By wedging a transfer punch (that's the same diameter as your bolt) into the hole that may not be not be perfectly lined up, you can align your LCA's bolt behind it and quickly Hammer it through. Sounds tough, but it really isn't. Your local mechanic can help if you run into any challenges! Buy with confidence!
